Welcome to Suscipio. A place where we strive to make God the Father the habitual guide and help of our lives because we know, with Him we can do all things.
Suscipio is Latin and means to raise up, maintain, support, accept and receive. To me, Suscipio means, “You are welcome here sisters in Christ.”
First, a little about me. Hi, I’m Jenny. I am married to Chris and we have seven children, infant to teen. In January 2012, while pregnant with our seventh, I felt God’s nudge to start a communal website to support the Catholic woman on the web. So I did. I am the administrator of Suscipio, but this is not about me, it’s about you.
In your daily life, you offer a place of comfort and rest for those you love. But you also need comfort, rest and the support and encouragement of your sisters in Christ. Your soul is tender, your heart thoughtful and some days, you just need a place to go and know you are accepted ‘as is.’
