Day 21! We did it! We made it to Day 21! We may not have completed our Mega Project, but we stuck it out to today…Good for you all! Thank you for walking through this ebook with me you all.
So what does Day 21 teach us, because whether or not we began with a goal or not…completed a goal or not…we did learn something along the way. So what’s today about?
Today we’re talking about how discipline begets discipline. And that’s a truth isn’t it? I know back in July when I set a goal to exercise everyday except Sunday, not only did I exercise, I also ate better. I knew first hand the hard work it was taking to keep moving for better health and I was not going to let a bag of chips ruin that for me. Aaannnnddd…even if I did eat poorly (which you know I did), knowing full well how hard I had been working, I didn’t let it set me back. I just recommitted again and again and even again if I needed to.
“That’s the beauty of intentionally working on developing discipline: discipline begets discipline. When I am disciplined in one area, that resolve spills over into other areas.”
21 Days to a More Disciplined Life
The author, Crystal Paine of Money Saving Mom encourages us to make a list of all the improvements and progress you’ve seen over the last 21 days. Don’t dwell on the areas that still need some major work. Instead, be encouraged by the progress you’ve made.
Have you made your bed more than you did before we started our 21 Days? Have you at least started a major project and now some of your brain space is considering the possibility of actually finishing the project…one small task at a time?
This is Day 21 of 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life
