Good Morning Ladies!
Last year we set Wednesday’s aside for our Book Club here at Suscipio. I’d like to ask you all a couple of quick questions about the Book Club.
Suscipio is about you all and I want to make your valuable time here count! I put together a short and sweet survey asking your opinion.
Bethany House Publishers offered me 3 copies of Pope Benedict XVI’s book, Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives to giveaway. This seems like the perfect opportunity!
Fill out the survey and you will be entered to win a copy of Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives. I have 3 to giveaway, so there will be 3 winners!
And because I really do want you all to take the time to fill out the short and sweet survey, I’ll personally sweeten the pot.
One winner will receive the complete set of three:
Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives
Jesus of Nazareth: Holy Week: From the Entrance Into Jerusalem To The Resurrection
Jesus of Nazareth: From the Baptism in the Jordan to the Transfiguration
Once you fill out the form, stop back by here and leave your name in the comments.
Poll closes next Tuesday, winners announced on Wednesday, January 16th.

I did a survey – I am hoping to participate more in the book club this year
thank you
I voted to keep the book club. I love that this one is Catholic and virtual!
I took the survey. Thanks for the site.

Did the survey; thanks for Suscipio!
I am new to the book club, so I didn’t do the survey. I already have the books and would love to do a book club discussion with these!
I am new to this blog and very glad I am to have found it. I have been a Catholic for less than two years and the first Jesus of Nazareth book was very important in the long journey that led me to this point. My faith has been really deepened by this and the Holy Week book. I bought my husband the Infant Narratives for Christmas but to be honest he hasn’t had a chance to read it as I have it in my hands so often.
With a son in the seminary I realize how important spiritual reading is.
Completed the survey! But I forgot to say how much I enjoyed the Advent reflections that you posted each day. That was lovely, although I’m sure it was a lot of work. Will you consider doing that for Lent, perhaps?
Thanks for all you do!
Thank you for your inspirational website.
The Holy Week book sounds very interesting and good for Lent:-)
I filled it out but you don’t need to enter me, because I have all the books.
The “last” one in the series is my favorite–Holy Week and the Passion. I just love that one. But of course they are all fabulous! Infancy narratives is great because it’s short so it’s a good start to the series.

Thanks
Almost forgot to leave comment…did survey.
Do these books have to be read in order?

I don’t think so, Theresa….there’s not a lot of places, if any, where the Pope says, “As you will remember from Vol. 2″ or whatever. I think they can each be read as a stand-alone volume, and in whatever order.

I just completed the survey! Thanks so much for this opportunity!
Keep up the good work! I hope the book club stays!
My “Year of Faith” resolution will be to pick the best time for getting on the computer and reading more carefully ~ and more importantly before I comment. Whenever I have a nursing baby, I have a tendency to rush through everything I do ~ including nursing itself! (excuses, excuses) I filled out the survey, but keep that in mind. Thank you for your devotion.
Thank you!
I surveyed! You are doing a wonderful job with the site and thanks for asking for our feedback! I wanna win something too hahaha
