Good Morning Ladies! I have a special treat for you all today. My friend Rose Schopen-Klassen, a very talented artist, wife and momma to 4 little cuties, created a lovely Sacred and Immaculate Heart picture to hang in her children’s nursery. She received so many compliments and encouragement to have it made into a print…that she did! Here is some information about the print:
The Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary; Giclee print of original watercolor created by Rose Shopen-Klassen.
Rose painted the birds and nest thinking of how prayerful parents offer up their children and seek for their protection through the intercession of Mary and the love of the Christ Child. The Iris, the flower that looks like a sword, symbolizes the prophecy of Simeon to Mary that a sword would pierce her heart. The foliage of Bleeding Heart is an appropriate reminder of the sacrificial love that Christ gives.
The prints are printed with archival ink on archival paper and are 7 1/2″ x 11 1/4″. Since this is not a standard size, the most economical way of framing the image is to have it matted and inserted into the frame of your choice. Giclee prints without the matt are $25.00, and with a matt, $32.00. A $5.00 shipping and handling fee will also be added.
