Book Club

I will back later today to discuss The Imitation of Christ , but I wanted to let you know about this awesome opportunity.

 

I used to review books on my personal blog.  Blogging for Books sent me an email today offering a couple of Pope Benedict’s upcoming book, Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives, for a giveaway in the new future.

 

I know Emily has read the first two of this series, Jesus of Nazareth: From the Baptism in the Jordan to the Transfigurationand Jesus of Nazareth: Holy Week: From the Entrance Into Jerusalem To The Resurrection and raved about them.  All I have to do is post the video trailer and they will send me copies to give away, yea!

    I read the second one with my lay Dominican group and it was fabulous — looking forward to the infancy narratives. Benedict’s writing is so clear and easy to read, it’s a joy! : )

    I’ve wanted to read the first two for a long time. I really should put these in my cart. I loved the trailer, music & photos were beautiful…I’m sure the words are just as brilliant!
