Moments of Grace

They were there, these moments of grace. They may have been fleeting and the noise and demands of life may have tried to drown them out, but they were there. They were in the strength to do what we thought we could not do, to accomplish what we thought impossible and even to enjoy what we were afraid we may miss.

So take a moment to look back on your week and recall these glimpses of grace as they wove themselves into the flurry of your life. These glimpses can be as simple as a gratitude list or as detailed as an animated story over a cup of coffee while children play.

If you blog, share a blog post containing your gratitude list, grace story, or picture from the week. You could even choose one from your archives showing the movements of God’s grace in your life. Link up here on Fridays for “Moments of Grace.” If you don’t blog, share your grace moments in the comments of Friday’s post.

Blog or no blog, let’s visit each other and listen to our grace stories, the mysterious and unique ways in which God moves and works and lives in each one of us.

Welcome! I’m Jenny, the administrator of Suscipio, a home for the Catholic woman on the web. I have been married to Chris almost 20 years, strictly by the grace of God and we have seven precious souls, one brand spankin’ new. I have blogged for years over at A Minute Captured, but recently felt God leading me to start a communal website for Catholic women. I hope my blogging shows what my life really looks like, no puttin’ on airs around here. It’s messy and beautiful and blessed beyond measure.

Here is what I am grateful for this week.

  2. The Mommy and Baby photo is PRICELESS!

    • Thanks Nancy, but that’s actually my second oldest daughter and my baby. Reading in the rocking chair until he falls asleep is a sweet {and much appreciated} afternoon ritual.

      • How old is your daughter? You have such beautiful lighting in your photos. precious babes! I finally linked up for Fridays….have been meaning to!

        • Thank you Samantha. She is 12. The late afternoon sun comes in through our French doors which face the West.

      • Ooops – guess that’s what happens when a person looks with “older eyes!” I agree with Samantha the the lighting is beautiful (..and that, I CAN see :) )
