Wow, this post is really late, sorry about that. I was going to vlog this post, but unexpected visitors on top of still working towards a good home routine after a new baby…well, it all adds up to a post at 9:56 pm.
I know I said at the introduction to Suscipio, we would alternate a book discussion with a Scripture discussion. Well, I’m not ready to dive into a Scripture discussion just yet. Instead of a thorough discussion of Scripture right now, I thought maybe we could just take a couple of descriptive passages as starting points for some comment discussion.
The first one I’d like to hear your thoughts on is taken from the book of Judith, chapter 8 verses 7 and 8
She was beautiful in appearance and had a very lovely face; she was prudent of heart, discerning in judgment, and quite virtuous…No one spoke ill of her for she feared God with great devotion.
Ponder these two verses over this next week and let’s discuss them next Wednesday. I have to tell you, since I came across these verses one night, I find myself coming back to them frequently throughout my day. I’d love to hear your thoughts next week.
Also, for the month of May, the month of Our Lady, we will be discussing
So go ahead and get your books ordered so we can begin the first of May. I have not read this book yet so I’m excited to read it with you all.
{Remember, if you click to Amazon through a link at Suscipio to purchase an item, Suscipio will receive a small credit which goes toward the cost of setting up and maintaining the Suscipio website.}
Don’t forget to enter the give away of a beautiful, handmade, blue rosay bracelet. The winner will be randomly selected this Friday.
